Seamless Integration Meets High Performance

When it comes to a "fitted" kitchen, the right built-in freezer is essential. Unlike freestanding models that stand out, an integrated freezer sits flush inside a standard kitchen housing, allowing you to maintain those clean, minimalist lines you’ve worked so hard to create.

At Reliant, we offer a diverse selection of integrated solutions to fit every cabinet aperture. If you want the professional look of a designer kitchen without the designer price tag, our HYE integrated freezers are the perfect choice. HYE focuses on precision engineering, ensuring their appliances fit standard UK cabinet sizes perfectly while offering internal storage volumes that rival much more expensive brands.

Why Upgrade to a Built-In Integrated Freezer?

Choosing an integrated freezer from Reliant means you don't have to choose between style and substance. Our models, especially the HYE collection, offer a host of benefits:

Hidden Aesthetics: Hide your appliance behind a furniture door that matches your cupboards for a truly bespoke kitchen feel.

Frost-Free Technology: Many of our integrated freezers come equipped with Total No Frost technology. This is especially useful for built-in models, as it prevents ice build-up and means you’ll never have to pull the appliance out to manually defrost it.

Quiet by Design: Because these units are housed within a wooden cabinet, they are naturally quieter than freestanding models. HYE takes this further with low-vibration compressors that are virtually silent.

Versatile Hinge Options: Whether your kitchen uses a sliding hinge or a fixed door-on-door system, our range includes compatible models for a stress-free installation.

Efficient Lighting: Bright, energy-efficient LED interiors ensure you can find exactly what you’re looking for, even in the depths of a tall larder freezer.

Under Chest Freezer FAQs

What is the difference between a sliding hinge and a fixed hinge?

This is the most common question for integrated freezers!

  • Fixed Hinge (Door-on-Door): The furniture door is attached directly to the freezer door.
  • Sliding Hinge: The furniture door is attached to the kitchen cabinet and "slides" across the freezer door using a bracket when opened.

Always check your existing setup before buying a replacement, though many HYE models are designed for easy conversion.

Are integrated freezers smaller than freestanding ones?

Because they have to fit inside a standard 60cm kitchen carcass, integrated freezers are often slightly narrower than freestanding models. However, brands like HYE use advanced insulation to keep the walls thin, maximising the internal "litre" capacity so you don't lose out on storage space.

Does an integrated freezer need a vent?

Yes. To keep the compressor cool, your kitchen units must have a ventilation gap, usually a small cut-out in the plinth (kickplate) at the bottom and a gap at the top, to allow air to circulate.
