One of the biggest draws of a projector is its ability to scale an image up to a massive size. Projectors can display images at sizes far larger than even 98 inches! However, this often comes at the cost of image clarity. The farther away a projector is placed from the wall, the weaker the image will appear. In order to project at truly massive sizes, you will need an incredibly powerful, and very expensive, projector.<\/p>\n<p>Projectors also require highly specific interior conditions in order to be used properly. In order for a projected image to be totally clear, the room needs to be totally dark. If there are other sources of light in the space, then they run the risk of reflecting off of the projected wall. While you might now feel a little confident about buying one, we need to note that they\u2019re not totally perfect for everyone. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very easy for a 98-inch TV to be too big for a given space. A TV can be considered \u201cToo big\u201d when you have trouble finding the perfect spot for it. Of course, you\u2019re going to need to make sure that there\u2019s plenty of space to first get the TV through the door. After that, you need to make sure there\u2019s enough space to keep your new TV. A TV should not pose an obstacle, and should not require you to wrestle your way around it just to move about the space. <\/p>\n<p>You also want to make sure there\u2019s enough space to take the TV\u2019s image in. To work out the optimal distance, all you need is the size of the screen itself. Simply take its size, and multiply it by 1.2 times.
